Work on the Historic Pearl S. Buck House Continues

Pearl S. BuckHave you ever been to the Pearl S. Buck House to view all the history and artifacts of this amazing woman?

Not to mention her ongoing causes to benefit children and families here in the US and abroad.

Pearl S. Buck donated her 68-acre Bucks County Estate, known as "Green Hills Farm" in 1980 to her charitable organization, Pearl S. Bucks International (PSBI) and it continues to be an inspiring example of what a non-profit organization is and how it should function to help its targeted audience, in this case disadvantaged children around the world.

It is located in Perkasie, PA on Dunhill Road and is one of the few Historic Museums in the US open to the public.

The Bucks County Symphony Rises to the Occasion

Bucks County SymphonyAre you a fan of the symphony?

Well, if so, then Bucks County will not disappoint because we have a terrific program for performances coming up and I wanted to let you know about them so that you can be sure to reserve your seats!

The Winter Concert will be performed this upcoming Sunday, February 21st at 3pm in the afternoon and will feature Gabriel Fauré's "Requiem in D minor".

The 2010 Pops Concert will be featured on Saturday, March 27th at 8pm and will show off the great talents of jazz performer Chris Brubeck and his group "Triple Play".

And finally, the Spring Concert will be on Saturday, May 1st at 8pm and will feature Elizabeth Pitcairn playing a Prokofiev violin concerto.
